Aion 2 Class Tier List
An aion 2 class tier list is a mode-by-mode ranking, not a permanent winner. See what a letter can tell you before you lock a character.
An aion 2 class tier list is a ranking of jobs for one kind of fight, written down so you can compare them without scrolling a dozen arguments. A letter is a summary. It is not a promise that the job will feel good on your hands, and it is not a patch note.
People publish these boards after a balance pass, after a new dungeon, or after a weekend of faction fights. The useful ones say which mode they ranked and which week they ranked it. A board that hides both is a poster, not a guide. Treat the date on the board the same way you treat the date on this page: if the client has moved on, the letters are history.
How an aion 2 class tier list gets its letters
A honest list starts from questions you can answer by playing, not from a single clip. Ask what the group still needs when that job is missing. Ask how hard the job is to shut down. Ask whether a new player can do the job’s basic work before they know every skill name.
- Group content: does the party stall when this job is absent, or does another job cover the same work?
- Open world: can you travel, fight, and leave without a fixed group, or do you need someone else to start the fight?
- Faction fights: do you hold a point, catch people in the air, or keep a group standing? Those are different scores.
- Learning curve: a high letter with a note that says “needs a practiced group” is a different pick from a high letter that works alone.
Write the reason next to the letter. “Strong in groups because the party lacks a front line” is a ranking. “S tier” with no reason is a caption. If you cannot explain the letter in one sentence, drop the job a grade until you can.
Split the board by the fight you are in
One column for the whole game flattens jobs that are built for different rooms. Keep separate rows. Do not average them into a single winner.
| Mode | What you are ranking | What the letter does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Solo travel | Clear speed and how often you have to leave | How the job plays inside a full party |
| Group dungeons | The role the party still needs filled | How the job plays alone on the road |
| Faction fights | Holding ground, chasing, or keeping people alive | A dungeon parse from the night before |
| Support duty | Whether the group falls over without that job | Who has the biggest personal number |
If a job sits high in one row and low in another, that is a successful list. Forcing one letter across every row is how a board goes stale the week the dungeon rotation changes. Keep the rows even when a forum thread wants a single champion.
What the letters are not allowed to mean
A tier list does not know your latency, your group, or whether you enjoy the weapon. It does not measure a damage number this page does not have. It should not rank a job you have not seen on the current client. If the roster on the character screen disagrees with a board, trust the character screen.
Ignore boards that invent win rates. A letter without a sample is an opinion. Say so, or do not publish the letter. The same rule applies to “must play” language. A group can clear with an off-meta job if the role is covered. The list is there to shorten the choice, not to scold the party.
Use the ranking beside the class guide
Rankings skip what the job actually does. Read the aion 2 classes notes for role, range, and party job, then come back and place the letter. If the guide and the board disagree about the role, fix the board. Do not copy a paragraph from the class notes into the ranking just to fill space.
Overlay tools are a separate decision from which job you pick. Plans and the module list sit on the Aion 2 hack homepage. Your tier row does not change because a menu is open.
FAQ
Should I reroll when a new list drops?
Only if your current job no longer does the work you logged in to do. A one-grade move after a patch is not a reason to delete a character you already understand.
Why do two lists disagree?
They ranked different modes, or they ranked different weeks. Ask which row they mean before you treat the letters as a fight.
Is a low letter a bad character?
It means that list thinks the job is easier to replace in that mode. It can still be the right pick if you like the weapon and your group already has the missing role.
Do I need numbers to publish a tier?
You need a reason. A made-up percent is worse than a sentence that says “we wiped less when this role was filled.” Leave the percent out until you have a count you can show.
